Your flights too and from Lima will be included, along with internal flights, internal air tax, all accommodation, private bus and local guides, porters, cooks, all meals whilst camping and most when in hotels, entrance to Machu Picchu and all other sites visited as part of the itinerary.

Will we be affected by altitude?

One of the additional physical challenges of this trek is the altitude at which we are walking. Some of the highest passes on the trail reach 4200 metres, at which point oxygen levels are reduced. This can cause shortness of breath, nausea and reduced energy levels. The trek is well designed however so that there is plenty of time to acclimatise to the altitude.Trek Peru - Machu Picchu 6

Can I share a tent with my friend/partner?

Yes – if you are doing the challenge with a friend or partner please state this on your registration form and we will try and arrange for you to share a tent. If you would like to share with a same sex friend/partner this shouldn’t be a problem, though if it is a friend/partner of the opposite sex then it may not always be possible due to numbers, though we will do our best to arrange it.

NO – Classic FM does not profit in any way from any of the fundraising events which Classic FM Music Makers holds.
