WNO is a world-class opera company, internationally recognised for its artistic excellence. Together with Classic FM, WNO is committed to building new audiences for opera.
It is the UK’s largest provider of touring opera, performing to more than 140,000 people a year, and the most active in Europe. Wales Millennium Centre is its home theatre, rehearsal and administrative base, where a significant proportion of its technical work is also undertaken.
2011/2012 Season
This season WNO will present accomplished performances of eight great operas. There will be new, exciting singers and conductors joining the company for the first time, and they will also welcome back exceptional artists with whom their audiences will be familiar. From the fiery and dramatic culmination of Don Giovanni to Mimi’s timid, flickering candle in La bohème, these new productions of classic operas will delight.

Don Giovanni - Mozart (New production)
