Welcome to our new website!
Think of classical music and thoughts of peace and relaxation immediately spring to mind. So that’s exactly what we set out to achieve when the design process of our new website began.
With our daily lives becoming increasingly busy, our aim was to create an easy-to-use website that not only supports our on-air programmes , but also provides an accessible platform to the world of classical music .
How did we go about designing the new site? Well our first step was to consult the experts. A sample of our website users was invited into Classic FM to show us how they navigate around the current site and discuss what improvements they’d like to see. Using this information we created an initial design, ran more testing, then made the final changes based on their opinions. The result – a fresh new Classic FM website, which we hope you will explore and enjoy.

Browse all areas of the site using our simple but informative site navigation pane. Each button will take you to a different area of the site, plus links to related articles will reveal more content, which we think you might like!
Classic FM Music for… Recommendations
Have you ever been faced with an event, but not sure what music will suit the occasion? Well we’re here to help you with our Music for… section. In there you will find a list of recommended tracks for weddings, funerals and even the birth of a new born baby.
We’ve done our best to clearly point you in the right direction to open up the world of Classic FM on the main areas of the website, but if you get stuck, try out our new site search, which clearly separates our search results into different types of content, including audio, video, galleries, articles and playlist tracks.
The shop has always been packed full with Classic FM CDs, downloads and books. But now that it is much easier to browse and make purchases, it’s the ideal place to visit to keep up to date with our latest releases.
