New York Philharmonic residency at London's Barbican
The world-famous New York Philharmonic brings the glitz, glamour and grandeur of the Big Apple to London's Barbican from the 16th until the 18th of February.
The orchestra will present four stunning concerts, each featuring music with a special connection to New York. Highlights include: Mahler’s Ninth Symphony, a UK premiere, and stunning performances from Lang Lang and Joyce DiDonato.
There will also be master classes with New York Philhamonic musicians, while children will be able to enjoy a Young Person's Concert co-hosted by Jamie Bernstein and Kidzone Live, which includes free activities where children can learn about instruments and have fun creating their own music.
