Nicola Benedetti Fantasie Recital Tour
Internationally renowned Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti returns to her beloved homeland this spring to give a long-awaited recital tour.
The 22-year-old will perform repertoire from her new CD Fantasie, a disc of well-loved loved violin pieces, including Zigeunerweisen, The Lark Ascending, Meditation from Thais and Tzigane.
Nicola will also be joined by two friends, pianist Alexei Grynyuk and cellist Leonard Elschenbroich, to perform some of her favourite chamber music.
Nicola is excited about the tour, saying ‘it is a hugely special experience for me when I play in Scotland… This tour is a particular highlight for me, as by bringing my favourite chamber works to audiences in an intimate atmosphere, I hope everyone will fall in love with them as much as I have.’
