Watercolours + Works on Paper Art Fair
Watercolours, prints, posters and photographs offer an affordable way of buying art - whether its a drawing by Lowry, an original print by Damien Hirst, or new work from a young artist.
The annual Watercolours + Works on Paper Art Fair opens from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th Feburary, at the Science Museum in London.
As well as all the pictures on sale, The Art of Invention is a fascinating exhibition of drawings and designs normally hidden in the Museum’s archives. Images of moons and comets, bridges and lighthouses, planes and trains – these pictures beg the question “is it art or is it science”?
Also, every day at the fair you can enjoy recitals by graduates of the Royal College of Music.
If you do buy a picture at the fair, you can take it home on the day.
The fair opens from 11am – 6pm, Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th February, with late opening to 9pm on Thursday.
Science Museum, London
Entry £10.
