Sky+HD and Hollywood Trip Giveaway on Classic FM

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at classicfm.com) apply to ‘the Sky+HD TV and Hollywood Trip’ on air competition ("the Competition") which will run from 16th November – 20th November 2009 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Classic FM.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
1. Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0845 225 85 85 (the "Telephone Line"). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Competition will be given out on air on each day of the competition.
1.2 Entrants will leave their details along with the answer to the question. One entrant with the correct answer will be drawn at random.
1.3 Winners must be available to speak to the presenter between 11am and 12noon. If selected winners do not answer the phone when called by Classic FM, another winner will be drawn.
1.4 All matters relating to the selection at random of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the discretion of Global Radio UK Ltd and the Participating Radio Station.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Any employees of Global Radio UK Ltd, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the competition.
2.2 The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland only.
2.3 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if Global Radio UK Ltd discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, Global reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified.
2.4 Global Radio UK Ltd and the Participating Radio Stations shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose telephone call is not received by Global Radio UK Ltd or the Participating Radio Station.
2.5 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.
3. Prizes
3.1 The main prize is a Luxury Trip to Hollywood for 2 people including;
• Return economy-class international flights from London to Los Angeles
• 4-nights boutique hotel accommodation at The Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive
• Brunch for two at The Ivy
• Traditional Trolley Bus Tour of Hollywood’s most famous sights
• £500 spending money
• Complete prize-winner management and all service charges & taxes
3.2 The prize consists of a 4-night break to Los Angeles for 2 people. The prize includes 2 return economy flights from a London Airport to a Los Angeles Airport, 4 nights stay at the Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles or similar, brunch for two at The Ivy and a traditional trolley bus tour of Hollywood. You and your chosen guest will be responsible for travel insurance, transport to and from the London airport and all other personal expenses. You both must have a valid passport with minimum 6 month validity beyond the return date, with at least 2 unstamped pages and a visa (if applicable). Travel is available up to 30.6.10 (subject to availability) but excludes Christmas, New Year and Bank Holiday periods and once booked cannot be amended. No cash alternative is available, prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. At least one of your travelling party must be 18 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18 years old, you must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 18 years of age or older. Additionally, guests below the age of 16 must provide written parental consent to travel unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Terms and Conditions of the carriers apply.
3.4 5 (five - one for each weekday) x Sky Packages each to include the following:
• A Sky+HD Box and a free standard installation provided by Sky; and
• A years subscription to Sky+HD and Sky’s top entertainment package (Sky World) provided by Sky; and
• 1 x 32” HD Ready Samsung TV
3.5 If you are a winner, you will be required to enter into three subscription contracts (one Sky digital, one Sky+ and one Sky+HD subscription contract for the minimum term of 12 months). After your 12 months’ free viewing, standard subscription charges will apply. Unless you change your package you will pay the prevailing price for Sky World (currently £46 per month). Other Sky TV packages available (currently ranging from £16.50 - £46 per month). Sky+ subscription is free while you subscribe to Sky TV (otherwise £9.75 per month) and is required to use the Personal Video Recorder features of the Sky+HD box. Sky+HD requires Sky TV, a Sky+HD box and the HD Pack(an extra £9.75 per month). If you have the standard definition Sky Sports or Sky Movies channel in your package you will receive the high definition version of that channel if available in the HDPack. The channels you receive with your HD Pack depend on your Sky TV package. You must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom. You will need Sky+HD professionally installed even if you already have a minidish. Extra costs apply for non-standard installation. You must keep your Sky+HD box connected to a fixed and operational telephone line for the minimum term of 12 months. If you need a minidish you are responsible for obtaining all consents required (e.g. landlord’s) before installation. Sky Box Office Movies, Stand-alone Premium Channels and pay-per-view services and events are not included in the Prize and must be paid for separately. Prices, programmes/channels subject to change. Existing Sky digital customers will receive a free Sky World subscription, Sky+ subscription and Sky+HD subscription for 12 months. Multiroom is not included in the prize. Sky will contact the winner to arrange installation of the winner’s prize. Winners must redeem their prize within one year, failure to process your installation application within this time period could result in loss of prize. Sky will not be responsible for delay caused by third parties. Sky may refuse entry or withdraw the prize if you or anyone you authorise to deal with your entry acts in a way towards staff of Sky or the Promoter which Sky reasonably considers to be inappropriate. 3.6 Sky reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
