Biography
These 20 young men from South Wales rocketed to stardom following their success on the television show Last Choir Standing in 2008.
Within hours of being named The Nation’s Favourite Choir, Only Men Aloud signed a five-album deal with Universal Music. Their first release, a self-titled album, has sold over a quarter of a million copies and achieved gold status within a week.
Only Men Aloud have now toured across the UK and USA and even performed at a private function for Camilla and Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, at the Prince’s personal invitation.
Music
Only Men Aloud’s second album, Band of Brothers, released in October 2009, features new interpretations of modern classics, Welsh traditional anthems and opera.
The choir have collaborated with a wide variety of high-profile artists, including Josh Groban, Russell Watson and Welsh singers Bonnie Tyler, Rhydian Roberts, Bryn Terfel, Aled Jones and Katherine Jenkins.
