Rhydian - O Fortuna

Welsh baritone Rhydian Roberts who first came into the public's consciousness in 2007 when he starred in X Factor, is fast becoming one of the UK’s leading classical cross over artists.

The Welsh star, studied at Birmingham Conservatoire and his classical training is evident in all of the music he sings on O Fortuna - his second studio album.

O Fortuna pays homage to Rhydians Welsh heritage, it was produced by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins and highlights include performances with opera superstar Bryn Terfel, harpist Catrin Finch and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

Tracks on the album includes much loved Welsh favourites such as 'Land of My Fathers' and 'Myfanwy' to classical like ‘Benedictus’ from Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man and of course the title track O Fortuna.

O Fortuna also features musical theatre and pop favourites such as Anthem From Chess, Annie's Song and The Living Years.
