Dario Marianelli
Born in 1963 in Pisa, Dario Marianelli composed piano and orchestral works but is best known for his film scores.
Marianelli is best known for his collaboration with director Joe Wright, writing the soundtracks to Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, and The Soloist. He also composed the soundtrack to The Brothers Grimm (2005) and The Soloist.
Marianelli received Oscar nominations for his work on Pride & Prejudice and won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for Atonement.
