Classic FM Live 2010 - Video Interviews
Classic FM Live began at 7.30pm, but the Royal Albert Hall was a hive of activity all day, as artists arrived and rehearsed, sound checks were made and the Hall was decorated.
Tim Lihoreau spoke to each of the soloists and conductor Vasily Petrenko between their rehearsals, to find out how they were feeling about the concert and the pieces they were performing.
He asked them what it's like to play in a venue as big as the Royal Albert Hall, whether they had made any unusual requests for their dressing rooms, and what they would be wearing on stage.
Mark Forrest and Jamie Crick were also on stage at Classic FM Live, along with Margherita Taylor, though they weren't playing instruments. Tim asked if they would be preparing in the same way as the musicians.
