Rick Wakeman joins English Chamber Choir

Rick Wakeman, formally the keyboardist in the rock band Yes, is joining forces with the English Chamber Choir for a concert at St James’ Piccadilly next week.

Rick has frequently collaborated with the London-based English Chamber Choir, beginning with a project called Journey to the Centre of the Earth in 1974. In 1997 he specially composed the work Noah for them, which he’s now reviving.

Anne-Marie Minhall asked the rock star about collaborating with the English Chamber Choir and what gives them such a special sound.

Rick Wakeman will be performing Noah with the English Chamber Choir as part of their Merrie England concert at St James’ Piccadilly on 7 July.
