Singing has always played a major part in Simon's life. Inspired by his early days as a chorister in a local church choir, he went onto become a choral scholar at university, and pursue a career in an interest that he truly loved.

As Simon explains 'The thing about being in a professional choir is you're never doing the same thing each day and you're doing something you love doing with people who are great at doing it as well.'

Despite being 'quite hard work' with 'lots of travelling involved', life as a professional singer has led to an exciting and varied career for Simon, with performances across the globe in some of the world's most prestigious concert venues.

However one of Simon's personal highlights is the friendships he has made through choral singing: 'There's a connection you make with people in the choir...a connection that goes on for years. We remember that time together. It's a unique experience.'
