Vote for your Odes to Joy
At Classic FM, we believe that classical music has the power to touch people’s lives in a way that no other musical genre can come close to managing. Whatever your mood, there is a classical work to match it.
So we’ve teamed up with the Radio Times to find your Odes to Joy – the pieces of music that brighten your day.
There are six categories for you to vote in:
- Orchestral music
- Choral and Vocal Music
- Chamber Music and Concertos
- Aria from an Opera
- Film or Television Soundtrack
- Song from a Musical
Each category contains a shortlist of ten pieces of music compiled by a team of representatives from Radio Times and Classic FM.
Voting closes on Monday 11 May in preparation for the big countdown on the spring Bank Holiday on 25 May, when the nation's Odes to Joy will finally be revealed.
