Jurassic Park

The film: Chaos breaks out on the island of Isla Nublar when an InGen employee is killed releasing a Velociraptor. Specialists are called in to investigate the safety of the island and CEO John Hammond invites Drs. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, as well as chaos theorist Dr. Ian Malcolm and his investors' attorney Donald Gennaro to visit his park on the island. However disaster unfolds when a Tyrannosaurus breaks through the electric fence.
The score: Written in the same year as 'Schindler's List', which was a major award-winner in 1993 John Williams' score for Jurassic Park may have been somewhat overshadowed by the latter score however this 'fun' dinosaur movie enabled him to use an array of compositional techniques which he employed in many of his nineties' film scores.
