The film: The war finds businessman Oskar Schindler joining the Nazi party to make a profit. His dedication to the cause and his generous bribes see him rewarded with an enamelware plant in Krakow, whose employees are unpaid Jews, but as time goes by the Nazi atrocities overwhelm Schindler and he becomes determined to protect his workers at all costs.
Composer: Schindler's List is another great example of John Williams ability to set a film in the most perfectly sympathetic landscape, producing, yet again, music that stands up on it's own when the film is taken away.
