Win Julia Fischer's latest releases
We've got five copies of each of Julia's latest recordings, released just this month, to give away to five lucky listeners.
The first recording is an album of Paganini's 24 Caprices. Her second release since she transferred to record label Decca, it has received rave reviews, including from the Daily Telegraph, in which Geoffrey Norris wrote that 'the young German violinist Julia Fischer finds captivating solutions to the conundrum of bringing expression and character to music of hair-raising difficulty'.
Also out this month is a DVD of a concert in which Julia Fischer performed not only as a violinist but also as a pianist. She played Saint-Saëns' Violin Concerto No.3 and Grieg's Piano Concerto with the Young German Philharmony under the baton of Matthias Pintscher. The DVD also includes a film portrait of her.
