Win tickets to Bergen Phil and Litton

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the UK with Music Director Andrew Litton this month for a three-concert tour.

Classic FM has five pairs of tickets to the London concert on 25 March at Cadogan Hall.

On their last visit to England their performance of Walton’s First Symphony took the Proms by storm.  This time the Bergen Philharmonic will perform music by Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Mahler, showcasing the warm richness of the Norwegian orchestra’s strings and individual excellence of principal players.

The Bergen Philharmonic is the most international of the Scandinavian orchestras, with 20 nationalities represented. Litton, who has been Music Director since 2003, comments on the ‘wonderful mixture of personalities that come together’, the ‘energy and intensity of the sound they create’.
