See The Sixteen at the Town Hall
To celebrate the Sound of Birmingham Week we’re giving away tickets to see The Sixteen perform Handel’s Messiah.
One of the greatest choral works ever written, Handel's Messiah has remained at the heart of the Town Hall's programme since it opened. On 3rd October, Harry Christophers will direct his ensemble in a performance of this magnificent work, following the success of their recording released last year.
The Town Hall is celebrating its 175th year this October having been re-opened two years ago after a £35 million renovation.
The Voices of Classic FM, The Sixteen , have been performing together for the last 30 years and are recognized a being one of the finest vocal ensembles in the world.
This legendary work is a perfect opening to the autumn season at Birmingham.
Prize includes two tickets to see The Sixteen at Birmingham Town Hall on 3 October 2009. Competition closes at 12 noon on Monday 7 September 2009.
