Win a trip to the Bergen International Festival
The Edinburgh International Festival launches its 2012 programme on Wednesday 14 March, with the festival running from 9 August until 2 September. To celebrate and get you into the Festival mood, we're offering you the chance to win a trip for two to the Bergen International Festival in Norway.
With more than 50,000 visitors each year, the Bergen International Festival is the largest Nordic festival in its genre and is renowned for its new stage productions and extensive music programme. In 2012 the festival runs from 23 May to 6 June. Experience intimate recitals, chamber music and contemporary dance as well as a programme of free outdoor events that bring the festival spirit to the whole city!
During the trip, you will see Leif Ove Andsnes and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Arve Tellefsen and Håvard Gimse, Truls Mørk: Russian Evening II, and Trine Wilsberg Lund.
The prize includes a selection of tickets to Bergen International Festival shows, a tour of the Norwegian fjords courtesy of Fjord Tours , return flights from the UK and accommodation at the Radisson Blu Hotel Norge for a 3 night trip from 25 to 28 May 2012.
