It's becoming more and more common for film or music from plays to take on a life of its own. That's happened with the score for War Horse written by Adrian Sutton. Based on Michael Morpurgo’s best-selling children’s book, the play told of a young man’s quest to be reunited with his horse, which is sold into service during World War I. Adrian Sutton talks to Classic FM Arts Daily about the process of creating a suite of music, to be played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra next month
