Alex Masterley is Global Pan European Head of Corporate Equities at investment bank Megabank in the City of London. He is married to Penny and they have a son Christopher who is currently studying art at college. Alex began his City career in 1987 and has worked for Megabank for the best part of twenty years, with a couple of brief forays into investor relations and executive recruitment. As one of London’s leading bankers he is a key player in the world of international global finance. Details of his salary are available on request.
A regular patron of the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and Garsington Alex prides himself on his detailed knowledge of the champagne vintages available at all these venues. His favourite opera is Tannhäuser during which he once set a personal record of replying to 623 emails on his BlackBerry.
Like his Classic FM presenter namesake Alex James he has always been fascinated by space exploration. His ambition as a child was to be the first man on Mars. These days he has the air miles to do it.
