Beyond the Hall of Fame delves beyond the Classic FM Hall of Fame , in search of lesser-known music that deserves a listen.
Using the Hall of Fame as a starting point, Alan lets his imagination run wild, thinking of the subsequent, occasionally left-field music that it suggests.
Speaking about his new Classic FM show, Alan Rusbridger said: "The idea of the series is to use the Hall of Fame as a starting point for journeys of musical exploration. I hope listeners will find them an eclectic and enjoyable mix of the familiar, the unexpected and the new."
