On the show
Over the Hall of Fame weekend, David Mellor whisks us away on a musical journey, suggesting pieces of music from the brand new Hall of Fame that make a good starting point for exploring the world of classical music.
Drawing on his expansive collection of over 30,000 CDs, David aims to stretch our musical horizons and heighten the enjoyment to be had from Classic FM Hall of Fame with a diverse selection from the great composers and modern maestros featured in the new chart.
Some pieces you may recognize, others may be new to you. In any case you'll have the opportunity to hear lots of different types of classical music in every show, so you should be able to find something that appeals.
We promise you, it will be an entertaining trip, so tune in to continue your exploration of the worlds favourite classical works from 9pm to 11pm on Friday, Saturday and Monday and from 10pm to Midnight on Sunday.
