Every Sunday lunchtime from 1pm until 3pm, David Mellor whisks us away on a musical journey, suggesting pieces of music that make a good starting point for exploring the world of classical music.
Drawing on his expansive collection of over 30,000 CDs, David aims to stretch our musical horizons and heighten the enjoyment to be had from classical music with a diverse selection from the great composers right through to modern maestros.
Some pieces you may recognize, others may be new to you. In any case you'll have the opportunity to hear lots of different types of classical music in every show, so you should be able to find something that appeals.
We promise you, it will be an entertaining trip, so tune in from noon on Sunday.
