Every Saturday lunchtime from midday, Nicholas Owen plays three hours of the finest classic music along with stories behind the music.
Nicholas' enviable broadcasting career followed a successful career in print media including The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times and Evening Standard.
In 1981 he switched to television reporting in the North of England, covering general and industrial stories for both regional and national news and current affairs programmes.
Nicholas moved to ITN in 1984, as Channel 4 News' Business and Economics Correspondent. From 1994 to April 2000 he was Royal Correspondent for ITV News before becoming the main presenter of the ITV Lunchtime News on ITV.
